Seattle trip

After our fun trip with our friends, we picked up our kids in Wenatchee and headed over to Seattle for the weekend.

We started by taking them up to icicle river and hiked down in to the river where the kids played in the sand, skipped rocks, and enjoyed nature.  We spent a couple of hours in this one spot, it was so beautiful with huge rocks the size of cars.  Here they are playing at Icicle river.

 

   

 

 

Then we headed in to Leavenworth to get some lunch and visit a couple of cute shops looking for the perfect souvenir.

 

Then on to Seattle.....................................

We went to the Zoo which the kids loved!

   Here are all of my monkeys, one of them demonstrating her "Pirate face" what a nut!!

We went to the Space Needle. Shaylie whined the whole time since all she wanted to do was ride the carousel that was in the center next to the space needle. So afterward we came down, we let the kids ride a ride.

          

 

Then we went to Pike's street market and it had closed moments before we got there. Bummer!  But we thought we should get a picture anyway's.

                       

Then we headed home.  It was a quick trip over but really fun.
