Jeremy and I were invited to go to Leavenworth with couples this past week. On our way there we dropped the kids off in Wenatchee to stay with Grandma Kissell and Aunt Hilary. THANK YOU! The kids love being in Wenatchee and hopefully did ok while we got to go play.
When we got to Leavenworth we tubed the river that went from Icicle river in to the Wenatchee river. It took about 4 hours and was so fun. It was so pretty with the mountains surrounding us, the worst part was being splashed to death by my own husband.
Next we got ready and went to dinner at an Italian restaurant and then walked around in Leavenworth through the shops . Then on to our show Pirates of Penzance (not my favorite). It was funny watching the guys faces like -shoot me now or get me out of here. The highlight for me was getting my picture taken with the pirate and noticing that one of the policemen in the show looked like Will Ferrell in Elf. I couldn't stop cracking up while I was watching him.
Then we went over to the condo and played games. We learned all sorts of new words from Clinton and we laughed and snacked and laughed.
It was so much. Thanks for inviting us Ostlers...........I sure hope we can stay on your invite list for fun things like this.

Looks like fun. The finger on the pirates sign is a nice touch!!! It must be nice to have family so close to drop kids at. Wouldn't know. I use to be able to drop them with you but not anymore. Sure miss you (and just for the babysitting part!!).
Awesome! Trips and Getaways are a must in life I'd say!
