Today when we got home from church, Jeremy told our kids that they were in charge of dinner.
They were so excited and so they all met in the pantry for their planning meeting to decide what to make. After making their plan, they hurried and got right to work. They had decided that they were going to make breakfast for dinner. How great is that? They thought that would be awesome. So they all washed their hands and got started. Each of them had something they were in charge of. Brielle and Shaylie were in charge of the pancakes and scrambled eggs. Chase was in charge of the bacon, making it extra crispy like we like it. Ayden was in charge of the sausage and the Orange Juice. and Shaylie set the table and we were all ready to sit down.
After we said the prayer to bless the food, Shaylie told us that they had all used a secret ingredient to make the dinner so good.
When we asked her what the was she told us “The secret ingredient is LOVE”.
Is that the sweetest or what? Yes, we all agreed the secret ingredient is Love. What a great family meal.
Thanks for making us dinner. We loved every single bite, especially the secret ingredient!
