Summer's here!

This has been a very busy week. We started out by having Brielle's 11th Birthday Party on Monday. Super Fun! We made fun shirts had a scavenger hunt and then had ice cream cake. Yum!

I am also watching 3 of my friend Wendi's kids while she is out of town this week, so I have been very busy with 7 kids. Luckily they have all been really great, and Brielle has been a huge help with Lilly and Shaylie. Thank you Brielle!! You are such a great helper.

Here are some of the fun things we have done for the first week of summer.

We have gone to a different park everyday, taken a evening walk daily, played on the trampolene, slip and slide, Played the Wii, Watched CAMP ROCK (Disney), Made smoothies, Made popcorn, ran through the sprinklers, played baseball & basketball, Made Homemade Ice Cream, played in the pool, had major water balloon fights and water balloon craziness, planted some more flowers, worked on MYREWARDBOARD.....chore chart - It's amazing and has helped me keep my house picked up this week for sure!!

We have had a fun but tiring week. I forget that during the summer the kids stay up so much later than normal, basically erasing all of my alone time. So I really need to re-evaluate bedtime and not worry so much about being the cool Mom.
