I finally finished "THE HOST". I had a really hard time getting in to this book. I bought it thinking it would be as great as the Twilight series, but it just didn't hook me the same way. The first 100 pages of this book I just couldn't understand who was talking and who was who. It really bored me, but I was encouraged by a friend (KATE) who kept saying keep on reading it gets better. Well it did. I really liked this book, I think that the author could have condensed the first 100 pages in to one chapter and then it would have been easier to follow. I did end up enjoying it though. Would I read it again like the twilight books. No probably not. But a good book after all.
Can you believe that BREAKING DAWN comes out in August. Whoo hoo!!! Now I will be lined up and waiting for that book to come out. August 2nd Baby!!

I'm glad you finished it and liked it better... I still say I liked it more than the Twilight books... :O)
yeah! You finished! I really liked it as well, but I think it's just a slight disappointment after the Twighlit series. She's going to have a LOT to live up to after those. But I think when she writes another book, she'll probably take into consideration the comments about it being slow in the beginning and try to do a better job at that.
