Almost Halloween

My kids are starting to get excited for Halloween. We have been working on decorating for the Holiday. But I really don't have very many decorations when it comes to Halloween. So when I came home from Wenatchee with these cool twigs I decided to dress it up a bit. kind of cute...don't you think??? I don't know.
Brielle is going to be Miss America, Chase is dressing up like Darth Vader, Ayden is going to be Anaken Skywalker, and Shaylie is dressing up like Barbie Island Princess.

Ok, so that brings me to a funny story about Shaylie and our trip to Target to look at Costumes.
I took my kids to Target one night, just to start looking for costumes and get some ideas for Halloween. When Shaylie spotted "THE COSTUME". The problem was none of us saw it until Shaylie had completely stripped off all of her clothes and was yelling My costume, my costume. I told her that if she would put her clothes back on she could try it on over her clothes. So she did. When she put on the Barbie Costume she started singing and dancing.
Her song went like this..."I'm just like you, You're just like me, we take responsibility" ( for any of you that have seen Princess and the Pauper)
It was so funny. Anyways, there was no way we were going to get out of the store without this costume. She seriously wears it all the time! Jeremy actually hid it in her closet so that she wouldn't ruin it before Halloween.
So Fun!!!!

Hi Jenne! It's your cousin Karalenn. I just got an email from Jill giving me her blog and telling me about yours so I've been browsing around a little bit. Those pumpkins are so so cute and I burst out laughing when I read the lyrics to that song because I knew exactly what movie you were talking about. My youngest (Kendyl- 4) makes me watch it all the time with her. In fact we just watched it yesterday. ANyway, it's fun to see what you are up to. Kristie (my sis) blogs too. There's a link on my art blog to hers. I called it Krissers Blog. Take care!

Hey you. cute decorations. I wish I could see your whole house at once and not just room by room. Maybe soon. We are hopeing to come home in january since we have not been able to find tickets unter four hundred for Christmas. When you have to buy six of them thats a lot of money. I also wish I could be closer to see your Kids grow. I'm glad to know that things like that happen to other people in the store. Lexi is going to be a princes. She had seen the disney princes dresses one day and I told her she had to wait to ask dad. Well the next time Kevin was with us she got so excited. We looked and looked at costumes and tried to convince her that the cheaper princes costume was the same but she was convinced that "its not the one I saw last time". We happened to go down the dress up Isle and she spotted "The one" and started jumping up and down and yelling. She picked the blue cinderella one because it matched her barbie. And of course Kevin had to get her the crown to go with it. We miss you guys like crazy. There is something about this time of year that makes me miss you more. Maybe its the weather and cute crafts that we don't get to do togerther. Or the costumes and trunk or treating. Nothing is the same without you. Don't forget to check out our blog. I have lots of pixs on there. love you. Debbie
