We went to white pass this weekend with a group of friends. It was really fun. We rented a huge cabin at Camp Zarahemla about 15 minutes from white pass and all 5 families skied during the day and then stayed and played games and watched movies at night while the kids played. We went with the Ostlers, Despains, Armitages, & Gurneys. We left on Thursday and found out around 3:00 before we left that we needed to leave by 5:00 since the road would close at 7:00 for construction. I seriously can’t believe we made it, It was so hard trying to get everything packed up with out Jeremy's help since he is still recovering from surgery. He finally had to do some things and I am sure did way too much to help us get out of the house on time. We were the last car through and they closed the road behind us. It really was a miracle we made it in time and didn’t have to go back.
Here we are the first day up at White pass. I should have had someone take our picture so I could jump in, but nobody came by so here is my family.
Me and my most darling Brielle all ready for Day 2 skiing by ourselves. The boys did a snowboarding clinic while Brielle and skied and they and did awesome. Ayden was cutting back and forth like a Pro and Chase got moved up to the higher level and was asked to be on their snowboarding team. He was jumping cones and twisting. So much fun!
The first day we went up to remind the kids what they had learned last year, since all of them have only skied or snowboarded once ever. When we got there Shaylie decided that she wanted to ski. We thought that there was no way she would do it, but went to the ski shop to rent her some skis jus to see if she was bluffing. She was not, she was totally excited to try it. So we got her all geared up and took her over to the magic carpet, which was perfect for her. She was so funny as she just bombed down the hill. She couldn’t stop, but she did an awesome job of skiing straight down the little hill. Here are some cute pictures Brielle got with her camera.
Day 2
Here I am with our friends, Jeremy had to sit this one out. So he stayed at the lodge with Shaylie.
Wendi & Me
Emily, Rachel, Brielle, & Kenzi
Brielle broke a ski and had to be taken down the hill on a sled and ski patrol. She wasn’t very happy about that and said snow was spraying her in the face since they went so fast. Her good friend Rachel rode down with her.
Me and Chase took a ride to the top together and he loved it!
Ayden loved his ski instructor Cliff. He said Cliff is nice and he is only 57 years old. LOL He also said that Cliff could do really cool tricks like 180’s and 360’s. Cliff is the guy helping the girl in pink.
Here is Ayden showing me how to strap in.
I took Ayden back to the lodge at 4:30 since a strap broke on his snowboard, then I went back and skied with Brielle, Rachel and Chase until 7:30p.m. They loved night skiing and would have stayed until closing if I would have let them.
It was a really fun but tiring weekend. Thanks for inviting us Ostlers. We had a blast!

That looks like so much fun. I wish I was in a family of skiiers instead of a family with bad knees. Hope you had a good Christmas!
P.S. I love that you are wearing dangle earrings skiing. God you always look good!
