This weekend was the best Mothers Day! My sisters and I have been planning this surprise for my Mom for months. Finally, I can talk about it.
I drove to Spokane early Friday morning and my Mom and I did a little shopping before heading to lunch...........................little did she know what would be waiting for her there. While I was running her all over town, Jill was picking up our other sisters from the airport. Carrie flew in from California and Kelli from Texas. Jill and Brittany had drove in from Oregon the night before and stayed with me.
When my Mom walked in to the Resteraunt she was on her cell phone and had a hard time processing what was happening. Her eyes filled with tears as she realized to her surprise that all of her girls were there for her.
Words cannot describe how I feel about my Mother. She is amazing in every aspect of the word. I am so thankful for her and our relationship. I love the time we got to share together this weekend. Here is what we did. We ate, wow did we eat........... we shopped, we got pedicures, we went to a movie, we stayed out at the cabin, we hot tubbed, we talked, we laughed, we took pictures, we crafted, we laughed and ate some more. It was an absolute blast!! This is the first time we have all been together alone in our married/so-called grown up lives.
My family came up Saturday to spend Mothers Day with me, how much better could it get?? It doesn't, it was absolutely perfect!

Look at those Smart girls. Carrie is so cute with that Foxy haircut and it was sooo much fun putting makeup on everyone. It was the best weekend ever. I am soooo glad that Britt was with us. I love being a Mommy, Daughter, and Sister. Love you.
