Today Chase is 10 years old, can you believe it?? No, this is not an April Fools joke. Chase is my April Fools Day baby. It seems impossible that he could really be ten years old. Chase is such a fabulous kid. He is a good student and also an amazing little athlete. He is one of those kids that seems to be good at everything he does. Partly because of his natural ability but also because he is so hardworking and passionate about everything he does. I love that he has no idea how good he is at sports. He has such great sportsmanship and rarely is upset about his performance. He has played Football, Basketball, and now is playing Baseball. He also is a scout and he plays the piano. He is kind and compassionate and always willing to help others. He has a strong testimony of the church and he is always trying to do the right thing. I also love how curious he is about the world. FULL OF WONDER, really describes Chase best. He is very naive about the world around him and I wish I could just freeze him in this place. He is so observant of others around him. He would be the first to notice someone's haircut or if somebody is gone he notices.

For his birthday I took the kids to see Monsters vs. Aliens 3D. It was a super cute show and the kids loved Bob. Then I took them to the gym to climb the rock wall and swim. Then for the big kicker - to dinner at Red Robin. For those of you who don't know, Chase has Celiac. He is allergic to wheat, barley , & rye. So we don't eat out much, and Chase next to never. Red Robin has a gluten free menu and although limited it was awesome!! The look on Chase's face was like he had won the lottery. What a great birthday day.
For his birthday he got a Wii game, Battleship, and a Wakeboard! Whoo hoo, watch out summer...........Chase is geared up and ready to ride behind Papa's new boat!
Chase we love you so much! You are so special and have made your family so very happy! We all want to wish you the Happiest 10th Birthday Ever~
