Jeremy and I got the opportunity to go and see the Musical Wicked this weekend with some friends in Portland. We left Friday morning and came home late Saturday night. My fabulous parents came to stay with our kids so we could get away We had a great time!
First of all I would like to say that Wicked was AMAZING or as my good friend Glinda would say I was AMAZIFIED. Loved it, Loved the music, Loved the costumes, Love the leads, Loved the set, and so on and so on.
Seriously one of the best things I have ever seen! During one of the songs "Popular", one of my friends leaned over to me and said "she reminds me of you" and "I can totally see you in this scene" Funny hn? I don't think I am that ditzy and stuck up,......... or am I? Then when I went out and bought a T-shirt, I was told that I bought the wrong one and that I should go exchange it for the Popular one. Too funny!

Anyways, we shopped at some cute shops, ate way to much, played a fun card game called Kanerkle and stayed up way to late, shopped some more, saw the greatest musical ever and headed home.
It was great weekend. Thanks for the invite Stacey! I hope that after hanging out with us for the weekend you won't be scared off.
One of the highlights was when we stopped at rest stop and everyone got out to use the bathroom except my friend Jodee, Jeremy locked the car and went to the restroom as well. A few minutes later we heard our car alarm going off. Jodee was trying to get out of the car, but Jeremy had no idea she was still in there and couldn't see her because it was dark and we have tinted windows. She made several attempts to get out, and set off the alarm a couple of times but was unsuccessful. Jeremy would turn it off and re-lock it before she could get out. He had no idea she was locked in. By the time he figured it out and we all knew what was happening we were all laughing so hard we could have pee' d our pants laughing so hard.

HILARIOUS! What a BLAST! I'm so glad you got to go! I loved the locked in the car story too. I bet you would do great in the Popular song - you certainly have the voice for it! LOVE YOU!
LOL! What a funny post. I love the pictures. Did you know Becca (my sis) was there at wicked too? She lives in Vancouver just outside portland area. Kind of cool to know you are close. Glad you had fun. We need those nights don't we! Hugs

oh yeah! let's all laugh at Jodee! your van has way too many security features, it scaredified me...I think I did pee my pants. Remind me to not travel with Jeremy again, he keeps people hostage in his BRINKS van!
