Can you guess what we have been up to??????
Since Jeremy's kidney stone surgery we have had continued sickness in our home. I know a lot is going around right now, and I think we have caught them all.
Brielle was home sick for a full week from school with Influenza. She ran a fever all week and had a terrible cough. Shaylie's excema is acting up and she has been scratching and crying about her itchy skin. Chase and Ayden were home from school with stomach flu.
Then if you can believe it, Jeremy thinks he has another Kidney Stone.
AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH! - That is me yelling, no more being sick. I am not a very good nurse. I worry way to much and can do nothing really to help. He has been feeling totally terrible and so we decided to try something else.
We were told by a friend that Kidney Stones can be cured with this home recipe. She said it has worked for her every time, and that she passes the stones within a few hours. Here is what we did: Cook up a full bunch of Asparagus, blend it and drink down 10 ounces in 10 minutes and then chase it down with 6-8 coca-colas within 1 hour.
I made up the beautiful smoothie - here it is.
A toast to good health and no more kidney stones!
Yuck, I so would have puked if I even attempted the Asparagus part. He says the coke was the hardest part. (I don't think so!) He felt horrible that night, but a bit better the next day. I think he thinks it worked, although he says he's not sure if he would do it again.
In my opinion it beats a hospitals visit for sure!
I went to the doctor today and have a sinus infection, so not fun. So as you can see we have all been a bit under the weather the last couple of weeks, but hopefully this is the end of it.

Man, your week SUCKED!!!
I really hope you guys start getting better.
Abbey has a mild case of eczema. I use the Body Shop's coconut body butter. On her really bad spots, it will burn slightly, but only for a moment. If she keeps up with it everyday, her skin is very much improved. They are the same people that make satsuma lovelies.
UGH! I hope it all passes soon!!
GROSSSS!!! i think i'd rather have a kidney stone. seriously. asparagus is one of the only foods i wil NOT touch!!
POOR KISSELS!!!!!! That IS a crummy week! Hopefully the next will be good!
