Jeremy passed a few small pieces of his kidney stone of which I took a picture of one of them. Yep this is it. It was so small, I wish I had a macro lense for this one. It was like a grain of sand. NO, I did not touch it, that would be nasty!
(kidney stone)
On Thursday Jeremy tried to go to work for a 1/2 day. He couldn't make it! He was in so much pain. He came home and called the Doctor right away and said he wanted the stent out! Friday afternoon they took it out. This was the best thing he ever did. He felt better by that night . He is still not completely back to his normal self but he feels he is 100% better.
This is the actual stent that was in him, yep I know totally disgusting hn? The blue coil goes in to your Kidney and then the tube runs down your ureter in to your bladder where you would find the yellow coiled end. YUCK! I seriously can't believe I am posting this, but I can't believe that this could make anyone feel better. So sorry, but here it is!
He says he will never do that again! The stent was causing him so much pain, he said he felt like someone was stabbing him in the kidney. It was a really hard week, but as my friend Laura says "this too, shall pass" and it did!

were so happy to hear that Jeremy is feeling better....we love him so much!
love Carrie!
I LOVE that you posted pictures of the stone and the stent. That cracks me up! I saved mine for a long time... but unforunately got lost in one of my moves. We could have started a kissell kidney stone museum... :)
Ick! And poor Jeremy!
