I woke up yesterday with a really bad sore throat. I thought it was strep throat so I went to the doctor and they said I had an ear infection. My ear wasn't even near as bad as my throat. I couldn't even swallow. By 4:00 yesterday, my fever spiked and I was in so much pain. OWIE! I need my Mommy! Seriously I wish she was here to take care of me. I have never cried over a sore throat and ear ache before now. I feel like such a baby. By the time Jeremy got home I had been crying at least 4 hours and couldn't even talk because of my throat. My poor kids were totally left to fend for themselves. They made dinner and did the dishes and took care of me. I laid in my bed and waited for Jeremy to get home and take care of me. Which he did. I kept up on my medicine all night and kept a hot pad on my ear, and this morning I am so much better! It still hurts when I swallow, but I am hoping that it will be better soon. I am so not tolerant of sickness.
Mommy's don't get sick, it simply is not allowed.

I hope you get better soon! And that's awesome that your kids made dinner and took care of you... I want good kids like that someday!
Oh, no! You poor thing. I'm so sorry you were and are so sick. :S I HATE being a mom and geting sick. grrrr
I think it is so cute your children took care of you until daddy got home. :)
