Chase's Baptism

We had Chase's baptism today. It was a really nice service. To tell you a little bit about it - Brielle and Grandma Smart played the piano before the service started as people came in. Aunt Natalie gave a talk on Baptism and Grandma Smart gave a talk on the Holy Ghost. They both did an amazing job!! THANK YOU!! For a special musical number Brielle, Ayden, and I sang "Teach me to walk in the light". Grandma Kissell was our beautiful chorister and Uncle Jesse gave the closing prayer.
Jeremy baptised Chase and the Grandpa Smart confirmed him a member of the church.
While Chase was changing Brielle played the piano. She did a wonderful job.
It was so fun to have so many of our family and friends come out to Chase's Baptsim. His Cousin Caleb came and so did his Great Grandma and Grandpa Showman. It was a very special day for him.
For refreshments I served Chase's favorite drink "slushy Punch" The one we got from Kristen and Ryans wedding and brownies and cookies.
Chase got a couple of beautiful gifts from his Grandmothers and the Bishop. As well as a set of scriptures with his name engraved on them.
Chase is such an amazing young boy. He has such a strong testimony of the church and he was just beaming today!
